One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bertinetti could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Red Herring Lore sprinted to the front.

Red Herring Lore clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Drooling Stereo was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Primo Victoria accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Red Herring Lore litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Bertinetti, 2 Inter Course Superior, 3 Primo Victoria.
