One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chesnaught could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Snow On Fire saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Let's Go Pegasos to trotting so they were disqualified.




Johnny Zurich Cherry took the lead after 1000m. Sophisticated Sparkle didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Panzanella was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Snow On Fire galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Sophisticated Sparkle sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
