The sun was shining on Mantorp today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Pancake could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Wandering Love saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. Joshua was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Wandering Love clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m. Joshua suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m. Heavy Mind looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 50 m. Beausceau started to gallop after 1500m and Claes Svensson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Joshua started to gallop after 1500m and Catrin Fajersson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. With only a little left of the race Joshua galoped for 30 m. Heavy Mind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Compass Error galopped for 50 m on the homestretch. Final standings. 1 Pancake, 2 Heavy Mind, 3 Old Arraow. Results
