Only a humble breeze blew over Oviken this day. The track where in perfect shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Yankee was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Cosmic Fall was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Bohumil was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Johnny Zurich Cherry saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Mon Ami took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mon Ami followed by Yankee and Roll With Me. Lane two Columbus Pegasos followed by Falling Diamond and Nessla Van Bronckhorse.

Mon Ami sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Bohumil won. Nessla Van Bronckhorse came in second. Decisive Tank caught third place.
