The sun was shining on Färjestad today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Albin sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Plaxton took the lead after 1000m. Albin didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Plaxton was still in the lead after 1500m.




Plaxton kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Plaxton sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Albin made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Independant Asteroid.
