One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Godfathers Law sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Nessla Oogum Boogum quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Kati Ci Cherry looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bianca Ameste couldn't come out from behind the leader, Nessla Oogum Boogum.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nessla Oogum Boogum followed by Kati Ci Cherry and Good Looking Paradigm. Lane two Bianca Ameste followed by Godfathers Law and Cape Clear.



Nessla Oogum Boogum sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Cape Clear made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Good Looking Paradigm.
