One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Vanessa could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tournant suddenly started to galop. Stefan Persson had to struggle to get Tournant to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Kick In The Eye sprinted to the front.




Tournant took the lead after 1000m. Nessla Vanessa didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tournant followed by Nessla Vanessa and Styxon Ciniferalis. Lane two Punching Scope followed by Kick In The Eye and .



Tournant sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Punching Scope won the race after a spectacular finish.
