One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





U Turn sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




The leader got disturbed by something and Heavy Rocket took the lead rather easily.




Foo-foo looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Son Of Sam started to gallop after 1500m and Paw Mahony had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Foo-foo was still in the lead after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race U Turn galoped for 30 m. Foo-foo kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Heavy Rocket never caught up with Foo-foo who won. Prost came third.
