The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Most Shining Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Counterfeit Spring sprinted to the front.

Lou Reed took the lead after 1000m. Most Shining Star didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Rugged Fist galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Counterfeit Spring suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lou Reed today. It continued in the lead.

Lou Reed didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Power Sword was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.

Lou Reed kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Most Shining Star won. Lou Reed came in second. Objection Overruled caught third place.
