The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ojsan Ilfart sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Rust Cohle galloped way to long and was disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Castagnola took the lead rather easily.

Castagnola was still in the lead after 1500m. You Da Goat galloped for 40 m.

Castagnola were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Castagnola didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
