The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Cagnes-Sur-Mer this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Turning Trap found a gap and took the lead. The Champion followed before Light Sword. Fawltys Vegas Strip was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Jacques Henri Treich wanted a little to much in the start and Kung Triton galoped for 50 m.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Sabala started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

The leader got disturbed by something and Mad Thinker took the lead rather easily. Why Not Me galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Arjuna looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

With only a little left of the race Pancake galoped for 30 m. Play It Hard was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Arjuna looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Turning Trap sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
