It had been raining for several days at Kalajoki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Amélie took the lead after a very quick start. Teemu Okkolin wanted a little to much in the start and Climbing Sniper galoped for 30 m.

Advanced Motor quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Omdrejning Igen Gang took the lead after 1000m. Silicio Vox didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Mooi Raadgeving galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.

Silicio Vox accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Whipped Cream galoped for 40 m. Silicio Vox kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Advanced Motor sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
