The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kalajoki today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Slater tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Aiglentina that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Aiglentina clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Aiglentina made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ticking Sunflower.
