One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Happy Comet found a gap and took the lead. Gold Dust Lady followed before Bruxelles.




Happy Comet was in fine shape and held the lead.




Happy Comet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Bruxelles galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.



Sombroek clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Moving Comet galop. Moving Comet lost 50 m.




Happy Comet never caught up with Sombroek who won. Gold Dust Lady came third.
