It had been raining for several days at Sørlandet but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elegant Breeze was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Crimson Looper Cherry was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

Crimson Looper Cherry clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Crimson Looper Cherry today. It continued in the lead.




Crimson Looper Cherry didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Cime Di Rapa galoped for 30 m. driver couldn't keep Elegant Breeze to trotting so they were disqualified. Crimson Looper Cherry looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Crimson Looper Cherry today who won before Le Pennec and Red Venus.
