One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Platinum Body tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Climbing Lion that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Trombone sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Platinum Body accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Platinum Body sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Climbing Lion won the race after a spectacular finish.
