One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Hard Puma tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Handy Lizard that came steaming ahead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Skidegodt C.C. sprinted to the front.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. In The Gun galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Skidegodt C.C. today. It continued in the lead.

Skidegodt C.C. didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Handy Lizard gallopped 10 m after 2000m.

Skidegodt C.C. sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jolly Whirlwind made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Skidegodt C.C..
