One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Polished Satellite could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Tripping Cupcake to trotting so they were disqualified. This is the positions after 500m. Helmi, Polished Satellite, Coughing Starshine, Tripping Cupcake, , , , . Coughing Starshine started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Polished Satellite took the lead after 1000m. Helmi didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Polished Satellite today. It continued in the lead. Polished Satellite kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Polished Satellite galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Helmi won. Coughing Starshine came in second. Polished Satellite caught third place. Results
