One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tripaldelli tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Nessla Oogum Boogum that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Gijs Gillis started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fast Tiger sprinted to the front.




Nessla Oogum Boogum looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Maeglin couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fast Tiger. Tyce galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Maeglin accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Maeglin kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Nessla Oogum Boogum never caught up with Maeglin who won. Tripaldelli came third.
