The weather had been good all week and Kalmar was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jérémy could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Jérémy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Playing Wind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Styxon Ciniferalis couldn't come out from behind the leader, Jérémy.




Playing Wind accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Playing Wind sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Playing Wind galop. Playing Wind lost 20 m.




Jérémy won the race after a spectacular finish.
