The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quouky Williams was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Calming Comet saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Calming Comet clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Quouky Williams looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Der Grüne Drache took the lead.



Der Grüne Drache sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Quouky Williams sprinted over the finishline before Der Grüne Drache and Calming Comet.
