Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Arvika track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Artaresto took the lead after a very quick start.




Flying Band quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of The Barfer who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Flying Band was still in the lead after 1500m.



Opposing Wave was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Artaresto suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The Barfer galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Striking Girl won. Artaresto came in second. Flying Band caught third place.
