The weather had been good all week and Gävle was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ovan Opal could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Rolling Cookie quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Paperclip Moussolou sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Ovan Opal accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Ovan Opal looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Andreas Lövdal tried a little too much on the homestretch and De Vet Du Superior started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Winner of todays race was Ovan Opal. Le Poignard came in second. Killers First Law became third.
