It had been raining for several days at Gävle but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Werkhuis Ter tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Polkamp that came steaming ahead.




Platinum Behemoth quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Platinum Behemoth was still in the lead after 1500m.



Confident Motor was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Shooting Plan speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Werkhuis Ter never caught up with Shooting Plan who won. Nanmadol Ghost Moussolou came third.
