It had been raining for several days at Gävle but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Search For Gold took the lead after a very quick start. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Quality Bet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Matthieu was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Search For Gold looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Radiating Trap couldn't come out from behind the leader, Quality Bet.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Quality Bet followed by Luchs Larockma and Search For Gold. Lane two Radiating Trap followed by Hugo Chávez and Fast Striker.



With only a little left of the race Bold Closet galoped for 10 m. Quality Bet looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
