One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Piekfijn was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Piekfijn clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Drago Volante looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Piekfijn put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Piekfijn sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Piekfijn kept the speed the whole finish and won before Kaa Lore and Drago Volante.
