One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lawless took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Être Assorti started to galop and lost 10 m. When the startcar left the field Hot Mama started to galop and lost 40 m.




Militarius was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cute Pie today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Copacabana gallopped for 20 m.



Cute Pie sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Cute Pie never caught up with Lawless who won. Être Assorti came third.
