One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Aiello could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Steel Sergeant started to galop and lost 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and New Pony sprinted to the front.




New Pony was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop New Pony today. It continued in the lead.




New Pony didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




New Pony was safely in the lead after 2500m. Rutheyes gallopped 10 m after 2500m.



Fast Sniper was first on the homestretch followed by New Pony and Aiello.






Fast Sniper didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
