The weather had been good all week and Mantorp was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Congretel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Loretta started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Queen Of Heaven was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Glamorous Winter was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Congretel clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Ma Fleur was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Congretel was still in the lead after 1500m. Queen Of Heaven galloped for 20 m.




Congretel was still in the lead after 2000m.



Congretel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Loretta won the race after a spectacular finish.
