One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Winkelhaak sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Trucco sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Trucco followed by Winkelhaak and Rational Sound. Lane two Nessla Wagon followed by Best Fra Vest Ameste and Old Cube.




Trucco was still in the lead after 2000m. Old Cube was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Trucco sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Rational Sound won the race after a spectacular finish.
