One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Funny tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Talkie Talkie that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Mirage D'atlantique, Nessla Van Bronckhorse, Funny, Bakaxel Opal, Talkie Talkie, Johnny´s Mustard Law, Clever Knight, Outspoken Striker. Outspoken Striker was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Talkie Talkie took the lead after 1000m. Mirage D'atlantique didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Funny was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Talkie Talkie followed by Clever Knight and Nessla Van Bronckhorse. Lane two Johnny´s Mustard Law followed by Mirage D'atlantique and Bakaxel Opal.

Talkie Talkie were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Funny galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Johnny´s Mustard Law never caught up with Talkie Talkie who won. Clever Knight came third.
