One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Merci Cherie found a gap and took the lead. Thinking Agent followed before Loving Steel.




Merci Cherie was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Thinking Agent galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Merci Cherie clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Merci Cherie today. It continued in the lead.




Merci Cherie sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Merci Cherie looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Loving Steel never caught up with Merci Cherie who won. Thinking Agent came third.
