One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starshine Thought was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Starshine Thought today. It continued in the lead.



Bright Lady litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Starshine Thought sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
