It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Criminal Funky Boy tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Elke Larockma that came steaming ahead. Elke Larockma was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.
Grossinke Cherry saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Nessla Waikiki saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Jumping Hero gallopped for 20 m.
Nessla Waikiki sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
