One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pozzecco tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Running Gal that came steaming ahead.

Running Gal was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

The leader got disturbed by something and Lutike took the lead rather easily. Wolly Electra was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Lutike was still in the lead after 1500m.

Confident Dribbler was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Lutike sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Wolly Electra galop. Wolly Electra lost 40 m.

Lutike didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
