One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sly Factory tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Obama that came steaming ahead.




Le Pennec quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Loving Cookie who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Le Pennec clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Le Pennec followed by Obama and Saddle Brook. Lane two Forceful Valley followed by Sly Factory and Loving Cookie.



Le Pennec kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Le Pennec. Obama came in second. Sly Factory became third.
