One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Philimon took the lead after a very quick start.

Philimon was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 50 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Helpful Band who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Over The Hills who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Philimon was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Philimon was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Aim For Goal gallopped for 40 m.

Growing Cruiser suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Aim For Goal galoped for 60m and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Aim For Goal galop. Aim For Goal lost 30 m.

Nouveau Triomphe won the race after a spectacular finish.
