The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wapakoneta Man was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Tulo Opal quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Wapakoneta Man suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Around The World galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Passionated Man accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Full Story gallopped for 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Full Story galoped for 30 m. Passionated Man sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Célestyna never caught up with Passionated Man who won. Tulo Opal came third.
