The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cunning Paradigm tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Growing Stone that came steaming ahead. Growing Stone suddenly started to galop. Dion Tesselaar had to struggle to get Growing Stone to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Starshine Thought followed by Growing Stone and Nostini. Lane two Mathematica followed by Cunning Paradigm and Waving Moment.



Starshine Thought were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Mathematica sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
