One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sunflower found a gap and took the lead. Victory Woman followed before Precious Saint. Emotional was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Speedy Malin who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Victory Woman looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Très Joli couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sunflower. Emotional was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Victory Woman accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sunflower gallopped for 50 m. Emotional started to gallop after 1500m and René Sejthen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Precious Saint galloped way to long and was disqualified. Très Joli was first on the homestretch followed by Victory Woman and Sunflower.






Très Joli kept the speed the whole finish and won before Sunflower and Victory Woman.
