Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Maribor track was in top-condition.

The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.

Královský Kouzelník was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Královský Kouzelník suddenly started to galop. Alessandro Gocciadoro had to struggle to get Královský Kouzelník to tror again and succeded after 10 m. Tender Strategy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Wagner sprinted to the front. Tender Strategy galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Thunder Fighter looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Nessla Newton's Cradle couldn't come out from behind the leader, Wagner.

Wagner was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Wagner gallopped for 20 m.

With only a little left of the race Koskenkorven C.C. galoped for 20 m. Carlos General was first on the homestretch followed by Nessla Newton's Cradle and Thunder Fighter.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Koskenkorven C.C. galop. Koskenkorven C.C. lost 50 m. Tender Strategy was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Final standings. 1 Ilegems, 2 Nessla Newton's Cradle, 3 Troca Hero Superior.
