The weather had been good all week and Färjestad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gonzo Divine sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Tropical Thought sprinted to the front.




Pointing Venus looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Canis Opal couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tropical Thought.




Pointing Venus accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Canis Opal suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pointing Venus galop. Pointing Venus lost 20 m.




Winner of todays race was Canis Opal. Gonzo Divine came in second. Brigette became third.
