One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Lying Baby sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Kick In The Eye was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Wondering Sugar quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Kick In The Eye sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Spartan Flower looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Malkin Truble put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Malkin Truble kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Winner of todays race was Malkin Truble. Lying Baby came in second. Spartan Flower became third. Results
