One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giovinazzo found a gap and took the lead. Slow Momentum followed before Glittering Sunflower. Slow Momentum suddenly started to galop. Carl Johan Jepson had to struggle to get Slow Momentum to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




Giovinazzo was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Slow Momentum who started to galop and lost 20 m. Ville De Lumière galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Giovinazzo clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Happy Pie to trotting so they were disqualified.




Giovinazzo was still in the lead after 1500m. Styxon Ciniferalis galloped for 30 m.



Giovinazzo looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Giovinazzo today who won before Glittering Sunflower and Slow Momentum.
