One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Desiderare Ballerino could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Kallfront F. Cherry, Occhiuzzi, Punching Bandwagon, Desiderare Ballerino, Floating Mistress, Front Cruiser, , .




Occhiuzzi took the lead after 1000m. Kallfront F. Cherry didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Desiderare Ballerino galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m. Front Cruiser was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Occhiuzzi followed by Kallfront F. Cherry and Floating Mistress. Lane two Punching Bandwagon followed by Desiderare Ballerino and Front Cruiser.




Occhiuzzi didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Desiderare Ballerino was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



Occhiuzzi looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Desiderare Ballerino sprinted over the finishline before Punching Bandwagon and Occhiuzzi.
