One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Cheechoo Superior took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Dolomita Larockma started to galop and lost 10 m. Malibu Stacy Lore was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Dolomita Larockma looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Chupapi Munanyo Superior couldn't come out from behind the leader, Riff Opal.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Riff Opal today. It continued in the lead.

Estermoler Cherry was still in the lead after 2000m.

Malibu Stacy Lore was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Estermoler Cherry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Estermoler Cherry didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
