The sun was shining on Halmstad today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Universe Magic found a gap and took the lead. Compass Error followed before Light Sword. Åke Svanstedt wanted a little to much in the start and Limpopo galoped for 10 m.

Focused Play saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Belle Fleur took the lead after 1000m. Blue Collar Guy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Compass Error was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Belle Fleur today. It continued in the lead. Blue Collar Guy galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Belle Fleur was still in the lead after 2000m. driver couldn't keep Old Kent to trotting so they were disqualified.

Belle Fleur looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Light Sword won. Universe Magic came in second. Belle Fleur caught third place.
