One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Clever Lion sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

Clever Lion looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Slippery Play couldn't come out from behind the leader, Kaunaz.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Kaunaz today. It continued in the lead.




Slippery Play seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Clever Lion speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Kaunaz made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Clever Lion.
