One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Poggio Climb took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Choir Amour, Handy Thinking, Poggio Climb, Kalas Pegasos, Purple Winter, Le Déroff, Chourraut, Waving Moment. A bird flew just in front of Pignotti who started to galop and lost 50 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Kalas Pegasos was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Stefan Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Pignotti started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Poggio Climb made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Choir Amour.
