The sun was shining on Visby and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Gonzo Boston. Athletic Lizard ended up behind the leader. Pinilla got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Escape galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Pinilla sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pinilla followed by Gonzo Boston and Ver Claramente. Lane two Athletic Lizard followed by Beautiful Electra and Good Looking Paradigm.

Pinilla didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Pinilla kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Ver Claramente galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Gonzo Boston sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
